About the Role
The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The role requires a balance of strong people skills and a firm grasp on HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should be approachable, knowledgeable, and able to provide strategic leadership in HR matters.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and hiring decisions.
Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and conflicts, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
Identify training needs for teams and individuals and organize training programs to meet these needs.
Manage compensation and benefits plans, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
Ensure all HR policies and procedures are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Monitor and improve employee engagement, culture, and satisfaction levels.
Utilize HR metrics and reporting tools to provide key data to company leadership.
Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (not required).
4+ years of experience related to HR management, or other HR functions.
Understanding of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ethical conduct and discretion with sensitive information.
Proficiency with HR software and HRIS systems.
Ability to strategize and formulate business plans.
